Valentine is a twin-helm, Jeanneau Sun Odyssey 40, shoal-draft in the owner's configuration with two comfortable staterooms. She has a full galley with propane stove and oven, refrigerator-freezer, plenty of storage, and a spacious salon with a dining table that converts to an additional double bed.
She's a fast racer/cruiser comfortable motoring or sailing at seven knots, although we've seen nine and a half with a favorable wind. Valentine is equiped with Radar, four Chartplotters, VHF, SSB Radio, and a full package of safety gear, including a 6-man Life Raft.
Valentine is a modern, "sugar-scoop" design with a swim platform that makes it easy to enter the water. She carries a kayak, two stand-up paddle boards, and a Portland Pudgy tender with Torqeedo electric outboard motor.
We bought her in Annapolis and sailed down through the Keys to our present berth at Palafox Yacht Harbor in Pensacola, Florida.
